The lioness didn't know if the lamb was intentionally trying to bring up old memories or not but what he brought up was something bittersweet. The lioness rose to her paws and trekked to the middle of the ring with a bittersweet memory in her mind. Bitter because it reminded her of Leon who certainly wasn't very pleased with Maji Walezi right now and sweet because it was one of her first memories. One of the first memories with Leon and she held it very dear to her heart. "Well, little friend, for those of you who don't know my name is Makyna... Makyna Songcat and my first memory of using magic well.." Her eyes took on a faraway look as she recalled that day.

"When I was born... Leon, the bear who just left, found me lying in the snow of Tunnel M. He picked me up and cuddled me in his arms and urged me to use my magic." She smiled. Still a little upset but happy that this memory was a fond one. If only Leon were here now to hear how she was speaking so tenderly of him. "A reached up with one of my paws to touch his cheek and saw visions of his memories. I am an arcane user, you see, so I was able to get his memories of him playing with a few friends. It wasn't really a special memory but to me it was beautiful because he was my first friend and I got to share a special moment with him." The lioness was done. Her lovely first magic spell cast was revealed, as sappy as it was, so it was her turn to spin the crystal.

She reached down with a claw and spun it watching it go round and round till it landed on the wolf. "Madame Wolf, truth or dare?"

"Talking looks like this!"
Thinking looks like this...
"Speech" Thoughts
Arkrael sat comfortably where she was. Positively beaming over the fact Vazi had sat himself next to her! SHe couldn't explain the feeling, but she enjoyed his presence. However, she did try hard not to express it. Keeping her emotions solemn and even her features as such. Alas, that bothersome tail of her was starting to pick up in it's movement, wagging ever so slightly as the stag settled down. When Amaria showed up a soft grin caressed over her features as well. She nearly laughed when the cat head bumped her on the chest before racing over to the bigger feline she had came in with. She had pondered over the golden lioness. Oh she knew of her. She was Makyna. Amaria's older sister. The two of them had spent a decent amount of time talking while they had awaited a beautiful Chrysalis to hatch. She was so lost to her own thoughts that when a shoulder bumped into he she nearly jumped

"Tamelyn!?" She nearly cried out before smiling so brightly at seeing her best friend show up. She quickly offered the deer an affectionate nuzzle of her nose against her cheek before she turned her gaze back towards the group as the game slowly, but surely began to make it's start. Makyna was up first it seemed. THe stone was spun and the first victim was chosen. A canine! Heterochromia eyes settled on the brown dog. Wait. That was no dog! Shock quickly tugged at Arkrael's chest. Another wolf?! How had she missed this one!? All along she had assumed it was only her and Tala that would carry the genes of wolves throughout origin. She studied him almost intensely as he gave in to answer his truth question.

Cat butt? That sounded ground. Arkrael struck her tongue out at the idea of it, but soon cast it aside as it was soon another's turn. And who would it be, but the stag right next to her! Vazi had chosen dare and Arkrael was oh so curious on what would become of her dear friend in choosing such a thing. When the wolf had chosen what Vazi would do Arkrael could have laughed. A grin split across her features as she watched Vazi boldy accept his task and move his way out to the middle of the circle. Arkrael's laughter could not be contained however when the buck began to 'chase his tail'. It was just too funny a scene and when the stag finally caught his tail and looked so proud of himself only to fall over her melodic laughter only continued. Oh that was a site to see. She would definitely be teasing the stag about it when he came back to his seat next to her.

She watched as the gem spun and spun after Vazi had nudged it with his nose. It soon landed on a black feline and Arkrael lifted a brow as she studied him. She had not met that cat before, but he was definitely interesting looking with his gems creating such...things atop his skull. Horns? It was interesting, Arkrael would not lie. When Vazi spoke of what his dare would be Arkrael was more than amused. She shifted when Vazi returned to her side and turned a warm smile to him before focusing on the cat. She watched unblinkingly throughout his entire routine.

That is, until she felt the hairs on the back of her neck begin to stand. Sudden tension was rising in the area and she watched as the bear this feline was taunting grew angrier and angrier by the minute. Leon was his name wasn't it? He had sat himself next to them and Arkrael had greeted him back just as pleasantly as he did to them. HE seemed like a decent guy. One she would later on like to meet perhaps. As he rose to his hind legs, however, Arkrael shifted nervously. He was angry. These two obviously did not get along very well and it was clearly shown in the way the two were handling the other. She wanted to move, to place herself between this bear and Tamelyn, but deep down she knew nothing would come to harm her dear hatchmate. His entire attention was on the cat. Then suddenly the bear snarled at the cat and ran off. Her brows furrowed as she watched the bear disappear out of site.

That wasn't cool. She turned a frown to the horned feline and shifted a moment. This was a game for everyone to enjoy, so why did the two have to suddenly annoy each other to the point where the bear was growing as aggressive as he was. The horned feline took his leave as well, scooting further away from the group, but still seemed to stay where he was. Arkrael gave a sigh, wondering if that would be the end of a game that had only just begun. She glanced to Tamelyn and then to Vazi wondering what their thoughts were, but suddenly Wynry began to speak again. Good. HE was to choose another. This time it was Makyna with a truth. She pondered on her answer and once more looked after the bear and where he had disappeared. So...there was a little triangle there. Now she understood. Jealousy. It was a cruel thing wasn't it.

Shaking it off Arkrael set her gaze on Makyna as she began to spin the gem again. With a blink, and then a second one, Arkrael quickly realized the stone had settled on her. It wasn't long before the Lioness spoke her words to Arkrael. Miss-matched eyes caught Makyna's and she contemplated. Vazi had chosen a dare. Not many others had chosen that aside from the Horned feline. So, with a brave smirk, she made up her mind. "My calling is Arkrael, for those who do not know. And I choose dare."

This wolf seemed like a nice sturdy and stoic individual. Perhaps she wouldn't be upset at something silly to do. The lioness pondered on what sort of dare to give her when the wolf answered. A paw came up to her mouth as she furrowed her brow and thought. "Hmm... well... let's see..." She mused. She could make her sing but after that last encounter she was weary of any song and dance number. Eat dirt? That was certainly a different one but she would save that in case she was picked again.

Her clear blue eyes settled on the little male deer next to the wolf. Hadn't she noticed the thing fawning over the wolf before? Had he not just been peering at her with a sort of doting expression? Slowly but surely an idea came to her. "Arkrael. I dare you to give that lovely fellow next to you," She paused to point with her tail at young Vazi. "A kiss." The lioness smiled. She was certainly devious at this game giving the dares and truths that she gave. Who knew with such a normally kind female.

The lioness gave the pair a grin before taking her seat at the ring again, watching intently to see when the dare would happen.

"Speech" Thoughts
Arkrael was confident she could do any dare this feline threw at her. So with her, almost smug but not smug, expression she waited for Makyna to speak her dare. However, things suddenly took a strange and sharp turn. It was all Arkrael could do to not stare at the Lioness as if she had been shot right between the eyes. 'What...' Her mind was left blank aside from that one word that had seemed to echo throughout her entire thoughts. A kiss?! Arkrael gulped slowly as her eyes slowly shifted towards the stag. Now that was just ludicrous. Why on earth would SHE be acting like she suddenly was?! A strange sensation had began to gather in her stomach. Feeling like a billion butterflies were fluttering around in her stomach and sending strange sensations rushing through her entire being.

For a moment she looked back at Makyna, almost trying to convince herself this feline had not really spoken those words and that she was about to give Arkrael her dare any minute now. It seemed like time ticked on by and this time Arkrael swallowed thickly. However, no matter the sudden odd and strange sensations that were overwhelming her Arkrael squared her shoulders and looked back to Vazi again. She would not back down. She shifted, nervously at first, but soon gathered her strength and shuffled closer to the deer. Without a second passing by Arkrael leaned close to the deer and gave a soft, tentative kiss against the side of Vazi's muzzle, just barely catching the front of his mouth in her 'kiss'. She quickly settled back into her spot. Desperately trying to keep herself from nervously looking at Vazi as even more strange and confusing emotions suddenly fluttered all through her.

Ok. Now it was her turn to spin. She rose to her paws and slowly prowled out to the middle of the circle where the gem sat waiting with it's point still poking right at her. She swiped her paw at it and watched as it spun and spun quickly. It wasn't long before it slowed down and slowly but surely turned it's pointed side right towards the owl. Arkrael settled her miss-matched eyes upon the bird, studying him thoughtfully. "Alright, owl. Truth or dare?"

He'd been paying attention, so even with his limited abilities with language, he understood some of the game. The song had been pretty, in its own way, though he had sensed undercurrents of not-what-it-was, but what-it-wanted-to-be, and it was not pleasant. He was too young, yet, to grasp the concepts of jealousy and love which had driven some of the other Gembound to anger, and so found himself sitting with his blank and blind stare facing vaguely toward the mushroom stalk, his thoughts lost elsewhere.

Until, that was, he heard the voice directed at him. He listened. Truth, or dare. He'd heard the game explained. He'd heard them say things with truth, and do things with dare. He liked to do things. His answer came small, a little hiss-chirp, but it was full of naive confidence. He had no idea who this large group of voices was around him, but he knew that so far, they were friendly, and that Bevy wasn't concerned. Therefore, they must all be Friends. So this would be perfectly safe, and nothing could possibly go wrong for the little blind owl.

"Dare."

"Speech" Thoughts
Arkrael couldn't seem to focus at all. The actions that had occurred only seconds ago was still consuming her thoughts. Every now and then ARkrael would cast a nervous glance at Vazi, unsure on how the stag would have reacted to the kiss. IT wasn't until Dark spoke did her focus settle upon the owl once again. A dare then. Arkrael racked her brain, desperate to clear its thoughts of Vazi and to focus at the task at hand. A dare. What kind of dare would be interesting to a bird? Her eyes danced towards the Monarch, trailing up along it's base all the way towards the top. Yes. That would work. It also didn't require a lot of focus on her part seeing as she was struggling with keeping focus as it was. That deer. Vazi. HEr cheeked heated up, and soon so too did her ears. She was oh so glad she wore fur upon her body. Less everyone would see her burning blush.

"I dare you to fly up to the top of the Monarch....and take a nibble out of it's cap" She turned her gaze back to Dark, curious to see if he would accept her terms. Of course he had the options not to, but what fun would that be? This was a game after all. At least she wasn't making him eat dirt or something. Or maybe that would have been a better idea? IT was too late now and Arkreal quickly shook it from her thoughts and slowly returned to her spot between Vazi and Tamelyn. She case a sideways glance to the stag, before turning her attention to Dark to see what he would do.

He listened quietly, his thoughts disjointed as usual but piecing enough together to make sense of this.

Fly? Yes, I can fly. I can't fly. But soon. Should?

The little ball of scraggly pale down stood, and, gem eyes wide, began to leap into the air and beat pathetic little wings. He jumped. He flapped. He strained.

He did not actually take off at all. He'd never flown, in fact was barely a fledgling, and what he did manage to do was faceplant the rock. He scrambled up and scurried forward, bravely trying again. He didn't feel self-conscious, didn't even feel ashamed or disheartened--he just kept trying.

And kept failing.

And kept trying, and failing.

At length he stopped, panting through parted black beak.

"Can't fly," he decided, and turned, stumbling over the crystal. Oh, here was the thing they'd been spinning. He was meant to do that now. So he did. ...And promptly grasped it in his talons as it spun, and hopped toward Bevy, wings spread for balance. "BevyBevyBevy," he chirp-hissed. "You. Dare! Truth!"

Dark was bright-eyed despite his utter failure, perfectly cheery and oblivious to everything. Including, apparently, the game's rules. Hopefully the others would excuse him... he was very, very young, after all.

VAZI HASIRA
"shattered innocence"

He'd thought the song had been funny, a little uncalled for with the gestures and what not, especially when his nose was grabbed. However, he took it with good humor and laughed. It was all in good fun... so it startled him when the bear suddenly became angry at the cat. Vazi glanced fearfully at Wynry and then Arkrael. Would the bear go off and try to hurt them? If so Vazi was ready to throw himself in front of his friends and protect them. Nothing came of the bear's anger except him stomping off. Vazi stared after the bear but shifted his gaze to the wolf next to him, confused at why he hadn't just taken the joke in jest like everyone else had.

No matter. Wynry was out in the middle of the circle handling business like he should. Vazi was so proud! Who couldn't fall in love with how sweet he was? Then, he continued the game onwards and picked... Makyna. She was like the black leopard only only all gold instead of black and horned. The lioness told a memory of hers that explained why the bear had been so upset. Jealous. A terrible emotion but one that would explain his outburst.

Then it Arkrael's turn and she was dared to... to... to what now? Kiss him? The deer blinked in astonishment then turned to his wolf friend. Kiss him? Had that been right? It was... He felt butterflies all throughout his stomach and tingles all across his body. His ears and cheeks grew hot as the wolf leaned over and gave him a kiss on his muzzle, right near his lips. Even more hot embarrassment flooded through him as he ducked his head when Arkrael made her way to the center of the ring. He wasn't listening now though. His mind was on the kiss and how he had actually enjoyed it. It made him tingle all over and made the butterflies in his gut increase. He couldn't tell Ark that though and he certainly couldn't tell Wynry. Oh, how embarrassing.

"Talking looks like this."
Thinking looks like this...
Bevy wished there was a way to frantically sign in Origin Bird-Wing Language that she would explain about the baby owl to Cancer soon, but she didn't even know where to begin. What if they didn't like him? He couldn't see... He would probably be a drain on resources more than anything and he was such a little trouble maker... But she loved him. He was family. She looked down at her beak and let everyone play the game while she thought quietly to herself.

So many things had happened over the course of the game. Bevy could hardly stand any of them. Leon was upset-- it took everything in her power not to go flying off after the big bear and try to calm him down. They could go back to Pisces together, with Dark, and everything would be okay. She could talk him down, couldn't she? But then it was Makyna's turn, and her bright red eyes hit her soft blue gaze and she knew she couldn't help. If anyone could, it was her, and she wasn't about to do anything.

She looked at Cancer, finally, once more. He had done that awful song and dance that was cringe-worthy at best and downright embarassing and mortifying at worst. He looked miserable at what he had done. Part of her wanted to fly right on over and reassure him, but--

Oh no, the bottle had picked her Owlet. A sense of pride and protection flew into her, almost as if something else had posessed her entirely, and she gave the wolf who had been so unlucky as to pick her baby the meanest look she could manage. Not that Ark seemed to notice her. With a frown, she listened to the dare-- flying. Not too bad. Bevy was sure he couldn't get up that high, he wasn't ready, so he probably wouldn't hurt himself.

"He doesn't have his flight feathers yet-- Oh!" She started to explain as the poor owl practically smashed his beak on a rock as he tumbled on his face. "Are you okay...?" She peeped in her worried, momma voice, but he seemed quite well. In fact, he was already eagerly going over to the crystal and then he spun it and... Didn't let it finish. Just brought it over to her.

She could have laughed. Delight spread over her features and she nodded, hoping no one minded. He was just a baby after all, he didn't know any better. "Bevy wants Truth, please!"

She would do a dare but honestly, that seemed like a bit much. Even though she trusted the chick, he was a bit of a silly one and he didn't have the best grasp on language. A question would be easier then him trying to explain what she should do, right? Besides, she didn't want to make a fool out of herself, and she certainly had no secrets to hide.

________________

Dark listened, staring blindly toward Bevy as she spoke. Truth. That meant he had to say a thing! A... A question. Yes.

He then proceeded to sit there blankly, the crystal in his talon, trying to think of a question. The little owl's grasp on language was not strong, so most of his thoughts were nonsensical at worst, or rather confusing at best. But this was a good game. There were many here. He wanted to make Bevy proud!

And so he thought, and thought, clicking his beak and mulling over what few words he knew. At length, he seemed to come to a conclusion, and chirp-clicked out a question.

"What... Makes--Bevy. Happy?"

He tilted his head, peering at Bevy, then stepped back--leaving the crystal on the floor. He himself plopped back down in a ball of scraggly pale fluff, awaiting her response.
