Tunnel T connects Cassiopeia and Draco. This strangely constructed tunnel is made primarily of cut, angular stone with small rooms (presumably living quarters) spaced awkwardly through its sharp turns. It is very overgrown with ivy and other plants, and light struggles to reach its dark shadows. There is the constant wet and dripping of water, its origin uncertain, though many deeper pools of water break up the boring grey of stone between gaps in the buildings. Throughout the tunnel weaves the causeway, a safe and polished method of travel for Hands and other important Draco guests, accessible only through its entrance near Cassiopeia. Overall this tunnel is cold and damp, except for the causeway which remains dry at a comfortable temperature. |
LOCATIONS
Cassiopeia Entrance
Watchtowers with gilded ramparts welcome guests home to Cassiopeia, its gates long-rusted open. The only entrance to the trolley causeway is to the side with a lavish, albeit rundown, lounge. |
Draco Entrance
Closed. Hefty watchtowers border large gates of Oilstone that seal the tunnel from Draco. This waygate can only be opened from inside the towers when both cranks turn in unison. |
Derelict Station
A large trolley station cut into the tunnel that is nearly unrecognizable from previous damage during the rebellion, the cave-in, and the excavation. Vegetation has taken back the stone and bones within. It has been systematically cleared of all remaining life or magic. |
Golden Causeway
A raised level of railway enclosed in some type of hardened glass, seemingly immune to physical and magical breakage. It can only be entered through the station at Cassieopeia's entrance; the Draco entrance opens only from inside the causeway. | TRAVEL
