Banshy, at the sound of the cave of polaris quieting with only murmurs from their family, thought it safe to return.

silently, they made their way over to the little snuggle pile to join in, looking at the 2 with curiosity.

they looked around, picking up a small rock from the floor, and trying to summon some magicka, maybe to make something to cheer them up a bit more than they already had.

as they summoned forth their magic the rock began to glow with a lovely white aura. the rock wasn't anything special on its own, exceptionally round if anything, but the light that glowed from it was soothing. they offered the stone to their father. things were scary, sometimes you need a glowing rock, yknow?

He glanced down at Forgraves' little chuckle and smiled with him - then he understood that carnal pleasure, if only because Mother was bad. At least, he hoped that was what Forgraves was thinking. Because even if he didn't shy away from his violence, if he was proud of the person he was and wasn't repulsed by the anger and hatred in him, he hoped that someone like Forgraves, someone who was innocent and good and a healer, not a killer, would not share the same sadistic pleasures.

He hummed. "Yes. I know the feeling. Thing happen, no matter what. It is hard to believe that the world existed before you. That things didn't simply start when you were hatched. But it seems that many important things are things I've never seen and couldn't have seen. But Mother is gone now. She is still a part of me, but she won't ever take me again." His eyes narrowed and his inner voice hissed out a threatening warning in the back of his mind. And if she does, I'll kill her and all that follow her. An unspoken threat that slipped ever so slightly into his words and tense expression. Forgraves hadn't often seen him grow truly violent, but should they ever meet mother again...he would.

As Banshy crept forward, Azrael turned towards them and lifted and arm to allow them to curl up again him. His looked curiously at the same gift that was offered to him and took it gently in his palm, admiring it for a moment. Usually he wouldn't care much for a gift like this. After all, he was darkness. He was fire and violence and shadow and a little baubled trinket meant nothing to him...but this was from Banshy. His flesh and blood. And that meant something. He grunted softly. "Thank you." Words so rarely heard in his voice slipped softly from his lips. A testament to the care he had for the two gembound snuggled up against him.
