It must be the increased snowfall these days or something, but Jinyi swore it was harder to get eggs these days. A snack factory demanded lots of them, especially when a brilliant salesman and product development manager like himself had so many new ideas all the time. Calcium-supplemented dontas made with eggshell to help you build your exoskeleton! Rich, delicious salted egg yolk sprinkled on top of dontas as a new and innovative topping! A whole egg, sweet-smelling and GINORMOUS, soft red-pink with a tantalizing smell! Wait- what?

How had this gotten in the ingredient supply? Besides, Dontas were savory chips, not desserts. (… unless? Now that was a thought to save for later.)

Shadows of confused colors fluttering across his blank slate face—he had no need to form typical Gembound facial features deep inside Order’s chip factory—the Drone bent down and touched a hand to its smooth shell. ”How did this get here?” he murmured to everyone and no one in particular. Well, the first priority was getting it away from the rest of the egg supply—its large size and bright color stuck out like a sore thumb, the very opposite of Order. He could investigate further once that was taken care of, Jinyi decided, standing up with the egg in his arms.

Jinyi had not gotten very far before the egg began to crack. Within, however, was nothing living and chirping, but a cascade of chocolate-coated eggshell filled with other sweet treats. Magically (safe and) delicious, these would, for your average Gembound, provide a delightful and varied snack; for the drone, they might even offer inspiration for a future line of products.

There were lollipops in hues of red, pink, white and purple; chocolate hearts; little candy hearts with silly phrases printed on them, like 'I <3 You', 'SWEET ON YOU' and the wildly specific 'YOU CORRECTLY ORDER MY HEART <3'. Others sweet snacks were packed within, all love-themed, wherever they had come from.

Jinyi could probably reverse-engineer some, if he so desired. Otherwise, they would certainly make a delicious few snacks, either for himself, or to share with friends or loved ones.
