QUESTS/EVENTS
Torrential downpours cause localized flooding and many upset cats. Along with these frequent rain, from gentle drizzles to heavy rainfall, there seems to be a flux of Magicka drawn in particular to water sources. Occasional jet streams of warm air make narrower tunnels harder to navigate. On occasion, the rain intensifies, becoming howling storms with sleet or large hail. However, the temperatures overall are a little warmer, with snow and ice in temperate caves somewhat receding.
A labradorite chrysalis begins to crack at the Tunnel entrance into Polaris. A hungry Ghanyarah stumbles upon it after knocking it aside in the darkness. Looking for an easy meal, he successfully helps crack it open and a helpless, ugly creature emerges from its confines.
Ghanyarah finds his back hijacked by the newly emerged gembound. Instead of disturbing the disoriented bat creature, he acquiesces to the company the neonite offers and taxis his back-bound ally to his tree in the Groves of Cetus.
Follow their initial meeting, Lituus and her new lizard friend begin to feel the pangs of hunger and set out to get some grub. Lituus hangs from the spines of his back in silent observation of her unknown surroundings.
Lituus is guided on reptile-back to the main room of polaris, the room adjacent to wear she had emerged from her chrysalis some time prior. At the crux of the river, the two find a newly hatched gembound- a snow white bear with icy blue eyes.
Having grown curious with Ghanyarah's story of the large tree with many voices, the pair makes a trip into the deeper parts of Cetus where the air grows cold and the gnarled vines of The Divine stand tall. The imposing presence of the tree initially strikes Lituus with fear, but a childish curiousity soon replaces her dread with wonder.
Lituus realizes Ghanyarah is set on his desire to form his coalition, and the idea of creating a nest for family and friends alike fills her with untold amounts of joy. Would that she could be of more help.
