alive Canine-like in build, this ancient Gembound has many stories to tell. Her legs are long and rest at awkward angles, and it is clear that she does not move around much. With limited mobility, she often needs help from others if she is to move long distances. Gentle and kind, Lorekeeper would love to tell you many stories, but she tires very easily and sleeps after one or two, depending on length. She rests quite often, so if you catch her napping it'd probably be best to wait for her to wake up on her own time.

alive A twisted, cat like monster that is naked and nasty in appearance. It bathes in radioactive darkness and has deep voids where its eyes once were; instead, shadows burst around it with large eyes peering down from multiple directions. When it talks, its voice is feminine though unnatural sounding. It can be assumed that the creature may have once been female. Her name is unknown to most. She believes there is a greater being living in the fake-stars of Orion that tells her to do things, and she'll do things 'for Him' quite often. She is not what she once was, and is not entirely sane.

alive The Three Kings of Orion are three separate entities who fuse into one larger entity, a large crane-like galaxy phoenix. Their individual names and personalities are: Alnilam, the golden-eyed brother, who is good in nature; Mintaka, the ice-blue eyed brother, who is neutral in nature; and Alnitak, the red-eyed brother, who is ambitious in nature. Though three souls inhabit one body, only one personality is dominant at a time, usually decided upon when they fuse and can be noted by the eye color of the fused Kings. The current leading personality in the Kings is Mintaka, decided upon by a contest given to the Gembounds; those pledged to certain brothers can communicate with them, but only the pledged.

alive This gigantic basilisk-like creature is said to have once been so large, it possibly created the caves themselves; from dialogue, it is known that Skahan is an "architect." His stone is the entire top portion of its skull and is constantly glowing, emitting light from some areas of its head. Skahan has very sharp and hard-plated scales that are midnight-oily black and iridescent, which have the ability to raise slightly and close along his body, a method for him to vent heat; they are also heat-resistant and seemingly immune to fire. His recently awakened size is about ten meters long and four meters thick.

alive elsewhere Hunched, black-cloaked, and shuffling, this figure is another who presents a mystery. Like the Blacksmith and the Collector, he wears a mask: it has three empty holes, and no visible eyes. Twisted antlers curve from the top of this. One of his two spindly-fingered hands with pointed claws has what appears to be an eye in its center, though whether it's an eyeball, or a gemstone, is unclear. The Masked Merchant offers rewards for riddles, dangerous puzzles, and deadly trials--and has the unique, frightening ability to destroy gemstones with but a touch. His true name of Hag-rteho is known to very few.

alive The Divine is a mysterious creature previously appearing in Cetus as a towering tree. Her roots seemed to be serpentine and writhing, like twisting bodies, and various images were scratched into her trunk. She has since been healed and freed, and returned to aid Master Artio in her endeavors.

alive This creature is large, standing around 13 feet at its shoulder with an unusually long body—somewhere around 35 feet long! Though he appears to look like a scaled dragon, Lyn is very soft in texture. His scales feel almost like flower petals, with a velvety smooth surface and sweet scent. He is a pure white color save for the crackling blue lightning arcing along his length, and vivid blue accents deep in his petals. His tail can open and close, blossoming to reveal the labradorite hidden within where he charges and stores energy. Lyn does not speak, but can make sounds and convey his emotions through his expressions, as well as how brightly his accents glow.

alive Meissa is only about 2 feet high at the shoulder but is roughly 12-14 feet long, including her tail. She is soft with short fur that thickens around her neck and for her tail. Her pelt is a deep navy color with shimmering, faintly glowing gold stars flaked in; the same soft gold illuminates the ends of her antannae, leg fins, and bits of her butterfly-shaped wings. Some patterns in her fur share the same soft glow. Her eyes are pupil-less silver with soft hints of faint blue. The horns above her eyes—her halo—are her fused stone, given life by her father, Lyn.

alive Venari is a very large, very long centipede-like creature. Her chitinous shell is a deep red in color that shimmers with iridescence. She has many spines that protect her. Her stone replaces one of the scythe-like mandibles on her face, a dangerous diamond weapon. Set into dark recesses are two glowing orange-yellow eyes that glimmer like fire. A third, vertical eye rests on her forehead and is almost always closed. She can use this third eye to see the magic aura of others. When it is in use, it sparks with magic, like embers sparking from flame. Venari is a hunter and an assassin—and for hire!

alive A strange, alien centaur creature that works as a chef in the palace. He is seven feet tall at the top of his head. Once upon a time, he had four hands—his front left one disappeared in a "mysterious accident." If asked about it, he'd likely say that he lost it in Orion's arena. (This is probably false.) His onyx stone takes the form of a sharp knife on one of his fingers, and is usually used for cutting up fruits and vegetables.

alive A tailor. Tall, elegant, and with a mix of serpentine and avian features, Mimosa (named by Valkhand Aethril after the esteemed mixed drink) seems to have been made for the task of tailoring. Multiple hands, a keen eye, and tiny Lesser helpers aid them in creating the perfect fashions for visitors to Cepheus's palace. Gembounds are welcome to seek Mimosa out with requests, and will be given a list of materials to gather in order for their commissions to be completed.

alive A massive, hunched, but gentle creature with eyes that glow with Arcane light. He bears a link to places beyond the caves, and his task is to Dream of these places, then pass the Dreams to his Shapers. Centaurus is reshaped every Cycle in accordance with these Dreams. The Dreamer's real name is unknown, and he has expressed a mild desire to be free of the shackles that keep him chained to the throne beneath his room.
