[QUEST] Dungeons & Dragons P2 - Game Master CJ - Oct 12 2018 Quest: Dungeons & Dungeons In a forgotten alcove are the remains of a broken statue sitting upon a tall square pedestal. The statue looks like it had once been a huge, husky creature resembling a goat, but pieces are missing out of it. They have been cleaved off in large chunks and are nowhere to be found in this tunnel. The statue has been successfully put back together!... But it moves to reveal a hidden passageway that is completely void of light inside. Join or Return To This Quest

Llamrei panted, hooves clattering against stone. RE: [QUEST] Dungeons & Dragons P2 - Asimona - Nov 20 2018 At last, Asimona returned to the cave with her two stone pieces - one she had just retrieved from Canis and the other she had stashed away when she found the statue's tunnel deserted. She carried them in her arms and glided low and slow towards the place where she had gathered with those before. As she got closer she distantly saw the black horse that she had met here cycles ago. She gave a gentle roar of greeting. tags: @Llamrei notes: RE: [QUEST] Dungeons & Dragons P2 - Game Master CJ - Nov 22 2018 A pair of tiny hidden eyes watches the Gembounds curiously, waiting to see what they will do...

Llamrei raised her head at an odd sound, a thwack thwack thwack. Looking around, she spotted a familiar figure - the white Dragon from some cycles passed. She spooked, side-stepping, but restrained her instincts enough to keep from bolting. RE: [QUEST] Dungeons & Dragons P2 - Asimona - Nov 27 2018 Asimona nodded, a little embarrassed that she couldn't recall the horse's name. tags: notes: RE: [QUEST] Dungeons & Dragons P2 - Asimona - Mar 08 2019 Asimona frowned and huffed. She opened her jaws again and breathed harder, this time bringing up a blast of icy air. She froze the edge of first the leg piece she had collected to the statue until there was a nice, thick layer around the edge, holding it in place. She then grabbed the forearm piece and held it in place. She did the same as she did before, breathing a layer of ice around the edge to hold it there. tags: notes: RE: [QUEST] Dungeons & Dragons P2 - Asimona - Mar 08 2019 Llamrei was taking too long. Besides, how was the piece going to hold in place if she was just...placing it against the stone? No, that didn't make sense. She grabbed the piece from the air and pressed it in place, opening her jaws to deliver a final breath, covering the edges in ice so that it was firmly attached to the statue. tags: notes: RE: [QUEST] Dungeons & Dragons P2 - Game Master CJ - Mar 11 2019 As the pieces were raised and attached to the statue, it shimmered in an odd light before a flash of brightness arced from the connected pieces, blinding those around it for a brief moment as ice melted into a puddle at its base. The pieces were firmly attached, as if they had never been broken in the first place, but it read as an entirely new scene: glowing green eyes illuminated the creature's face, a ring through the septum of its nose dangled loosely, as if the creature were real; curled ram horns framed its thick and angry looking face; beneath its hooves were tiny insects, ants, and it looked like it might actively be stomping on them; its tail was waved high behind it, thin save for the tuft at the end; and its arm was held abreast its chest, hand curled into a fist.
A rumbling shook and the statue slid, on its own, to the side, revealing a dark and mysterious passageway. It was completely void of light inside, and a faint buzz of laughter echoed quietly from within. @Llamrei @Asimona RE: [QUEST] Dungeons & Dragons P2 - Felina - Mar 11 2019 Felina had been through much in her wanderings. She arrived in the main area. Her original intention for being there was to hunt prey. Golden-amber eyes were drawn to a small group of Greater Gembounds. She didn't know any of them. Her feline curiosity brought her close to the small group. Not too close, of course. She knew better than that. She kept an appropriate distance between her runty form and the other Greater Gembounds. For the first time in her life she saw an inanimate object...move. A statue of some kind. She caught up with the party, but continued to keep some space, as is proper etiquette. "My name is Felina. May I accompany you to your destination?" Her question was addressed to the rearmost Greater Gembound. @Game Master CJ, @Asimona @Llamrei |
