Just marking down info on the Hume cult idea so it doesn't get lost. Mostly copy/pasted from discord. I'll clean this up at some point
What is Hume:
1. She is the fate of Autonomy and is the reason everyone has life and gembound magic
2. Her radiation occasionally makes its way through the caves to grant wishes. A lot of really incredible things have come from wishes. Too much exposure to her radiation, however, causes madness. (see: Wilder, Oliver, Giggle, and Madhukar)
3. She appeared once to a group of gembound during an anniversary event some years ago in the form of a meteor. Everyone who saw her has the Meteor's Flight spell
4. She and Wilder are bffs. She's appeared to wilder in dreams/visions twice now. Wilder's wish was to essentially be a conduit for her magic in the caves, and it gave wilder limited once per cycle wish magic. Ever since then she's acted as a bit of a priestess for Hume
5. Hume's radiation in general is happy friends with the other radiations (chaos, order, natural order) so this cult would be like a haven for nice people from any side but very anti the establishment, bc the actual establishment of chaos/order in the caves kinda sucks
Actual ideas for this group:
Essentially a group separated from the major powers of Origin Cave (Chaos Forge, Task Force, The Hive, the Masters) focused on being a sanctuary for those affected and hurt by their power and protecting them, as well as standing in opposition of their establishment as it stands in the caves. It will also focus on spreading the love of Hume for all living things and her message of freedom and the right to exist and live.
Wilder will probably let some of her own personal beliefs bleed in as well. But she probably won't ever try to act in a leader position and would rather do everything democratically or something similar. Council. Not sure.
They will be homed in the temple of Noctua.
