The Bloodberries is a family group located in Tunnel N, led by the goose Blackberry and the moose Blueberry. Along with their own children are those that have been adopted or accepted into their family and are raised as if they were born of the two. The one core ideal of the group is simple: family first. There is nothing more important to the Bloodberries then each other.
Despite their family-oriented nature, the Bloodberries is an extremely dangerous group. They have no real motive besides protecting each other, growing strong, and enjoying the thrill of battle; a pleasure introduced by their blood-loving parents. They also have little care for honor, attacking in great numbers or fighting dirty to get what they want. Violence and murder outside of the family are not only allowed but encouraged as Blackberry and Blueberry try to teach their kids to be like them.

Joining
Outsiders younger then 4 cycles old have the potential to be adopted by Blackberry and Blueberry and become full members of the group, receiving a family name, and being named one of their children without many questions asked. However, anyone above that age must prove themselves to the parents before they will accept them into the family. While they will still receive a name of 'berry and become a part of the family, they will not be raised as a child. Those older then 4 cycles that do not wish to be a child of Blackberry and Blueberry can become, what they call, a 'friend of the family.' They do not receive the family name, but are counted among allies and welcomed into family gatherings and events.
Leaving
Leaving the group, especially as a child raised by the two, is a serious offense and the greatest insult to the parents. Those that leave will not be allowed back in unless they prove themselves, bring lots of apology, and suffer consequences, including the disappointment/wrath of the parents. Friends of the family may leave at any time and join again, but will be met with suspicion. Any child that turns their back and does not return will become the greatest enemy of the family for betraying them. No meeting with them and the family will end peacefully.
Members
Jayberry: Out of all the children, there is no one more bloodthirsty and more loyal to the family then Jayberry. She enjoys the taste of blood and the feeling of tearing into her prey, having killed as many as Blackberry. With Blackberry gone, she has now assumed command of the Bloodberries.
Cloudberry: A child created by Huckleberry and unwillingly given to Blackberry, xe seems to be devoid of any emotions on the outside, despite the heart xe has on the inside. A source of tension between Blackberry and Huckleberry, xe will definitely play an important part for the future of the family.
Yewberry: Jayberry's daughter and a ruthless member of the family. Unlike her mother, she seems to have loyalty to no one but herself. What strife she will bring to the Bloodberries is yet to be soon.
Sylvanberry: The daughter of Blackberry, revived from Alan's gemstone. She was a baby when the family went off to Eridanus and has since not have much contact with her family
Previous Members
Blackberry: The mother goose and founder of the family, generally considered by others to be completely insane and a scourge on the caves. Known to be both loving and ruthless, she leads her family with iron talons and finds pleasure in fighting and killing, a hobby she relentlessly passes onto her children.
Reason for leaving: couldn't handle the death of her son and disappearance of Blueberry
Blueberry: Blackberry's mate and far more gentler then the leader of the family. Having followed Blackberry around since they were children, he's picked up some of her bloodthirsty tendencies but treats his children with a more open heart and a softer voice then his mate.
Reason for leaving: Deceased
Elderberry: The third hatched of the three, Elderberry is both loyal and unquestioning of their mother's orders. They enjoy fighting as much as their parents, although they tend to stay silent then let out outrageous monologues.
Reason for leaving: Deceased
Baneberry: The first hatched of the three, Baneberry is most like her father, gentle and kind. While she tried to fit into the family, she realized early on that she didn't want to hurt or kill and ran away. Her whereabouts are currently unknown.
Reason for leaving: Shunned for capture by the Sinful Seven, gone for too long
Kitaka: Also known as Mulberry, Blackberry adopted this child just before the hatching of the three. She is mostly clueless about what the family is really about and only wishes for Blackberry's love and approval. Her whereabouts are currently unknown.
Reason for leaving: Inactive
Dewberry: A small garter snake that Blackberry happened to pick up. While weaker and smaller then most of her siblings, she's cuddly and loving and trying her best to fit in.
Reason for leaving: Inactive
Snowberry: Also known as Baffin, he is a polar bear cub that is definitely too kind and gentle to be raised into a killer. He seems to only fight out of a desire to repay Blackberry for the kindness of letting him join the family then out of any desire to kill.
Reason for leaving: Inactive
Hellberry: A fearsome crocodile that follows the image of both Jayberry and his mother. He loves the taste of blood and the rush of the fight and only wishes to become stronger and a better killer.
Reason for leaving: Inactive
Heart-Song: Also known as Acaiberry, this friendly, innocent bird has no idea what they've gotten themselves into. Taken in by Blackberry after a reemergence, they only really wanted to be part of a nice, comfortable family. But it's too late for them to turn back now.
Reason for leaving: Inactive
Huckleberry: The second hatched of Blue and Black's litter, Huckleberry is considered the problem child by pretty much everyone. Chaotic and constantly out of control, they have created a bad relationship between themselves and Blackberry from their unwillingness to kill and their more emotional and empathetic personality.
Reason for leaving: Unable to handle almost killing his daughter, or to support his family's ideals.
