Location: Possibly Cetus or Fornax, open to suggestions
Alignment: Neutral
The Aether Clan is a coalition of artists, story-tellers, explorers, and visionaries. They will be formed under Ghanyarah whose initial goal is to rebuild the family he lost to give himself purpose - to protect them. However, he will also seek to spread his ideals to his followers and encourage them to pursue creative endeavors. He believes that life is made much more rich if it is unordinary and strange, and wants to see the clan evolve into something truly unique and their own. All forms of creative expression are facilitated within the clan, and Ghanyarah is likely to lead his followers into large-scale projects in an effort to reshape the cave's way of thinking. All members of the group are accepted regardless of appearance, heritage, or alignment, as long as they do not actively cause discontent within the group.

Clanwatcher: Ghanyarah
The Clanwatcher is essentially the clan's leader. They protect and guide the clan through group projects and individual journeys. Though they have the final word on decisions, every opinion of their followers should be highly regarded.
Clanguards: Odin, Leon, Open
The primary goal of the Clanguards are to ensure that members of the clan remain safe. They are responsible for patrolling the clan's territory and watching for danger, alerting the Clanwatcher of any suspicious activity, ensuring the clan has ample food, caring for the injured, etc. They should all have general experience in defending or caregiving, but are also encouraged to practice creative expression.
Clanguard Leader: Open
Acts as a secondary to the Clanwatch and conducts the Clanguard's activities.
Aethers: Othello (Divine Aether), Equinox (Artistic Aether), Makyna (Divine Aether), Vega (Seeking Aether), Septiezal (Telling Aether), Cuanakrys (Telling Aether), Morthos (Telling Aether), Open
Regular members of the clan with no specific job. They have the freedom to live within clan territory and do as they please, though are expected to adhere to the clan's creed and regularly exercise their creative prowess. If an Aether or a group of Aethers leaves clan territory, they are encouraged to bring a Clanguard with them for protection. They can also choose to categorize themselves as a certain type of Aether. Uncategorized Aethers are just referred to as Aethers.
Artistic Aether: Painters, map-makers, crafters, smiths; if you create something fresh that is able to be seen and touched, you are an Artistic Aether.
Telling Aether: These are the weavers of lore and history, story tellers that are constantly building their encyclopedia of knowledge and experiences.
Seeking Aether: Those that venture from the clan for the purpose of discovery. They often bring back interesting artifacts and exotic treasures to be marveled at.
Divine Aether: These Aethers explore beyond the fringes of what is tangible. They are philosophers with powerful, arcane leanings, dabbling in the future, prophecies, interpretations of cave patterns, etc. Mainly thinkers, their purpose is to project their intuitions to the rest of the clan. Not required to be Arcane - can practice divination through many other physical means.
More types of Aethers can be suggested and are likely to be discovered.

Freshly emerged Gembounds that have not yet found their creative calling, and injured or disabled Gembounds that are unable to pursue their dreams. Newborns are referred to as "Clanchildren" until they participate in their first group project, or create something on their own, at which point they become an Aether.

I'd love for Equinox to end up being an Artistic Aether- she could draw maps, studies and findings on the cave walls using her slime, but she might need some encouragement and help with finding out that she can do this, and figuring out her passion <3

Does anybody have any suggestions or ideas for where they should live? Right now, the top pick is Cetus simply because Ghanyarah already lives there, but if someone suggests something else in character Ghanyarah would be happy to consider it.

@Ozias yes! i'll toss yara into his hatching thread 8) where is his chrysalis? Fornax is a great idea, i have a feeling Ghanyarah would just be covered in the steam the whole time since he's generally a cold temperature kinda guy hahah. But yeah, any suggestions that characters make in a thread he'll consider! I imagine he'll probably scope out different rooms to try and find the best place to live.

@Ghanyarah I would be interested in throwing Kyorai in here! o: Seeking Aether seems just right for him as he grows a passion for hunting and/or tracking stuff. Though I guess he would be considered Clankept until then, haha.
