RELATIONSHIPS

Master Vargas - Hated, feared
Maximus doesn't respect Vargas anymore. Since he failed them when they found themselves struggling under the effects of their corruption, they've found themselves completely unable to rely on him and only obey to save their own skin. Whatever affection they felt is long gone, buried under layers of betrayal and a dull sorrow.

Overseer Orthoclase-Alpha - Respected
Since their disappearance, Maximus doesn't know what to think of Alpha. Pity, perhaps? Or some sort of kinship in fearing Vargas. Whatever those feelings mean, they respect Alpha.

Overseer Cain - Respected
Maximus is much more likely to follow Cain's orders without doubt despite no longer being a part of the Chaos Forge. They simply respect the Overseer more and are more likely to treat them with respect. Might feel slightly fond of them.

Doctor - Former mentor
Maximus doesn't feel fondness for the Doctor, but respects him. He did teach them much about being a medic, after all.

Kethri - Former annoyance/mentor
Maximus dislikes Kethri, despite her having taught them much about various plants and herbs that could help them in their endeavor of becoming the Chaos Forge's medic. Doesn't think very highly of her. Feels immense guilt for her death which they feel they directly caused.

Khavur - Beloved sibling, family
Maximus and Khavur are sensorial linked, their love so deep it formed a link between them. Maximus loves their sibling and trusts them the most out of everyone, sharing their deepest secrets and doubts. They fear for the future of their pairing.

Aurelia - Family
Maximus loves Aurelia and sees her as a niece of sorts. They wish to protect her as best they can.

Porkchop - Child
Maximus loves this little baby pig so much!! All the love for this little squealing mess.

V-Zoisite-One - Clutchmate
Maximus is fond of Zoisite-One but doesn't know them very well. Has a scar from them biting their arm, but harbors no grudge or hatred.

V-Labradorite-One - Clutchmate
Maximus is fond of Labradorite-One but doesn't know them very well.

V-Selenite-One - Clutchmate
Maximus is fond of Selenite-One but doesn't know them very well. Would very much like to.

Diot - Friend
They met and immediately connected. Maximus feels fondly for Diot due to the immediate kindness he showed towards them.

Equinox - Friend
Maximus has encountered the Valkhound and think they're pretty nice. They'd love to get to know them more and possibly talk about different plants and animals. Someone to talk to would be very appreciated.

Oliver - Acquaintance
Maximus is uncertain of how they feel towards Oliver, but they would certainly love to be his friend.

The Sentinel - Acquaintance
Maximus feels a melancholy fondness towards the Sentinel. They are put off by his lack of emotion, though, and tend to avoid him.

Vedette - Acquaintance
Maximus is fond of Vedette, and while she isn't fond of them, they still wish she would come home back so they could talk again.

Nidhogg - Sibling, disliked
Maximus doesn't like Nidhogg. They don't feel the same way they do about him like they do Draconua, but he's so chaotic and mean that they can't feel affection for him.

Draconua - A walking death wish, hated, feared
As it says on the tin. Maximus stays as far away as they possibly can at all times unless they need to be close for some god-awful reason. Since Vargas declared her as their executioner should the Master ever have the need to kill them, their hatred has deepened into a bone-deep panic every time they look upon her and see their own death staring back.

Porkchop - Son
Maximus met Porkchop in his first cycle, immediately taking a liking to the piglet. After Vargas rejected him, though, they secreted him away in Pegasus, then took him with them when they fled the Chaos Forge. They love their 400 pound son and still pick him up and snuggle him to this day.

Chaos-Two encourages their sibling as they fight off intruders in Tunnel P. Upon seeing that perhaps Khavur can't handle both at once, they call for Vargas and heals the then Overseer when he cuts himself on glass.

Chaos-Two and Khavur have a soft, private moment in Pegasus during the journey to Draco. They make a promise to each other that they will become butterflies and they will be free, that they will find out the word that describes the affection they feel for one another.

Awaken
Chaos-Two awakes from their chrysalis with new legs and a new life ahead of them. They reunite with Khavur, their sibling, their bond growing ever brighter. They learn their name long before they earn it.

Chaos-Two flees Draco and finds himself outside of Lyn's secret haven. They encounter Meissa and offer her flowers and things, trying very hard to make friends with her while also fleeing from the possible threat of Draconua's rage.

Chaos-Two returns to Draco and faces ridicule and shame from Master Vargas. They try to explain themselves, only for Vargas to reveal that he didn't keep Chaos-Two alive out of mercy or kindness, and that he saw nothing worthwhile. The first seeds of doubt and self-loathing are planted within Chaos-Two, coaxed into growth by the corruption that hides within.

Vargas asked V-Chaos-Two to return, and 1 day after mr anderson... i've been expecting you, they do. Vargas makes them push rocks out of a hole while pushing more in, trying to prove a point that sadly doesn't come across. Chaos-Two is given an oilstone for their troubles.

[Chaos Forge] INCENTIVE
Vargas gathers the whole of the Chaos Forge plus some allies to a meeting. He describes what will be expected of the Forge and punishments for disobedience, and Chaos-Two's corruption comes to a bubbling point. They lash out at the owl Kethri, causing her death and their own punishment in front of the Valkhand Aethril.

Job Interview: Searching for Applicants
Chaos-Two sets out to find gardeners and farmers for the Chaos Forge, as per Vargas' instructions. Excited to redeem themselves, they set out as soon as possible to complete their task, and alert the Sentinel of where they are going.

Job Interview: Oliver
Chaos-Two meets Oliver, who they heard about from the Sentinel. They meet, talk, and Chaos-Two ultimately decides to enlist his help for the Chaos Forge as a gardener.

Chaos-Two encounters Diot in Eridanus, where they talk for a while and ultimately decide to enlist Diot's help for the Chaos Forge as a second gardener.

Chaos-Two presents Diot and Oliver to Vargas and gets his approval from both. Oliver is dejected because the Sentinel truly didn't feel anything for him at all, and Chaos-Two can't help but feel like they accidentally lead him on that he did.

Chaos-Two has a terrible nightmare about Draconua. Not for the faint of heart. Aurelia comforts them and they form a bond between two souls late at night, and Chaos-Two falls asleep with the comfort of her watching over them.

Chaos-Two faces down their biggest challenge yet... their Transcendence Trial. Presented to them by Emuh, they must complete the tasks given in order to grow more powerful. They meet Nibbles here, a wind hopper they bond with, and decide that he will become their companion.
