Contest: Job Faire!
Is your character innovative, diligent, a team player? Are you ready to put your character out there, get them noticed, so that they can make a change in the world? If you've answered YES to any of these questions, then we'd like to hear from you!
Job Faire is all about groups and drawing interest to our existing groups, as well as getting characters to join them! This is a contest in which all kinds of characters can participate, from loners to dependent babies that surround themselves with other Gembounds every hour of the day. Each group will have a common goal: to win! And each prize is tailored to a group, so you'll have to use teamwork in order to succeed.
PART ONE! Deadline: January 17th, 11:59 EST
1. Each participating group must produce a roster of current and active members, as well as each member's position/job. Their job can be their rank or general purpose, but they must have one - that's why this contest is called Job Faire! After these rosters are posted, we will regroup characters accordingly.
2. Each group must produce a list of jobs that need to be filled. Again, these can be ranks that already exist within the group, or new jobs produced specifically for the purpose of the contest. Either way, there needs to be jobs that other characters can fill. You can offer a limited number of jobs, but that may end up being detrimental to your group's score - so if you do offer limited jobs, be sure to offer an unlimited position as well.
3. Unofficial groups may also enter! While we are looking to focus on existing groups, if there is enough interest in an unofficial group, we will allow it to participate. For the purpose of this contest, unofficial groups must possess a leader and a minimum of four founding followers (not including the leader).

Once all of our groups are set up, members will have to begin racking up points! If lone characters want to win, they'll have to join a group and help out!
+5 PTS Per Starting Member
Your group will automatically earn 5 PTS per member they start out with.
+15 PTS Per Recruited Member
Your group will earn 15 PTS for recruiting a character into their ranks. To qualify, a character must have been grouped as a Lone Gembound after Part Two begins, and the thread must be completed before the deadline with the character becoming an official member.
+10 PTS Per Job Performance
The point of this contest is to get a job, isn't it? So your group will earn 10 PTS for every completed thread in which a member is performing their given job. The thread must contain at least 5 posts of your character doing their job, which can be denoted in the post itself.
+20 PTS Per Group Thread
Party time! A group thread must include at least 3 members of a group (it can include loners and members of other groups as well, but to qualify for points, requires a minimum of 3 group members to be present).
+40 PTS Per 100% Participation Thread
If you can wrangle up every member of a group and have them all participate in a group thread, making a minimum of 2 posts per character, as well as complete this thread, then your group can nab a cool 40 PTS. That's why its important to have an updated roster and keep track of your active members!

They are, however, permitted to join a different group.

The group with the highest amount of PTS will win a site skin based on the group (it will not feature members of the group, but rather follow the group's theme and feature their name), ʡ50 per member, and a fancy Job Faire Contest Winner achievement!
Runner-Ups
For simply participating, members of each group will receive ʡ20.
