While exploring Polaris, a freshly hatched Gembound drops onto Leon's head. He decides to take the little monkey under his wing, intending to bring them back to Rohan.

On the way to Rohan, Leon and Teyouma discover a newly emerged raccoon. Leon convinces him to join them on their journey to find Rohan.

After presumably finding Rohan, Leon heads off on another adventure. He tries his magic for the first time, failing miserably and burning his paws.

Frustrated that he can't seem to harness his magic, Leon sulks in a tunnel by himself until a canine shows up. The two of them engage in a game of chase, brightening Leon's mood.

Exploring the waterfall room, Leon finds another freshly hatched Gembound. He tries to teach him how to walk. It's adorable.

After deeming the Spire in Polaris to be his favorite thing, Leon's favoritest thing ever is challenged by Fisher. They compete to see who can climb the highest. Leon falls off only a few feet from the peak; Fisher scratches the Spire, only for it to zap him and send him flying off as well. Both of them receive medical aid from a fox that had been watching the whole affair.

Sore from his loss, Leon travels to another tunnel where he finds yet another freshly hatching Gembound, Makyna. This time around, Leon tenderly helps warm the young lioness. She dubs him her best friend, and Leon accepts his new title.

Leon takes Makyna to see the rest of the cave that he had explored, only to find that somebody has taken residence in Pisces. Cancer invites them to stay with him; Leon agrees only if he can take Makyna to see the rest of the cave first.

After showing Makyna some more parts of the cave, Leon and her return to Pisces where Cancer decides to make an official group named Maji Walezi. The group, initially, consists of Cancer, Bevy, Leon and Makyna, with Leon securing the role of Scout, much to his dismay.

As is his duty, Leon takes to some strange new parts of the cave. He discovers a massive mushroom and another primate studying it. Leon befriends her and offers to take her back to Maji Walezi, to which she agrees.

Returning to Polaris, Leon finds he had been followed by Makyna. The two of them discover a young leopard cub hatching in the dry riverbed and head down to rescue her. They end up taking her back to Pisces because she's just so darn cute.

Leon, Makyna and Amaria head back to Pisces.

Polaris summons Leon once again. This time, he finds a group of Gembounds curious about the rusted machine in the riverbed. They investigate it, only for Deer Dad to arrive with a clue on how to make it work.

The group heads over to the dam. There, they accidentally awaken a wall of golems, causing water to rush out and fill the river. The machine whirrs to life, bringing light back to the caves, at the cost of unleashing dangerous golems into Polaris.

Immediately after the lights turn on, Leon returns to Pisces to hear Cancer complain about them. He and Azazel convince Cancer to go back to Polaris to show him the new threat that has arisen.

On the way to Polaris, the rest of Maji Walezi decides to tag along.

Finally at Polaris, the group observes the golems from afar. Cancer suggests they try to communicate with the golems, to which Leon and Azazel violently protest. An argument builds and results in Cancer storming away angrily. Leon is relieved that they don't have to endanger themselves carrying out Cancer's plan, but is now worried that the argument has fractured the group's bonds.

Makyna and Leon head out to Eridanus, where Makyna suggests they spar together to practice their magic. The spar ends with Leon accidentally burning Makyna, who faints from blood loss. Leon is left to carry Makyna back to Pisces.

After returning Makyna to safety, Leon flees, ashamed of himself and angry that he is unable to control his magic. He seeks the comfort of his birthplace, only to find that Rohan has come back after mysteriously disappearing.

Leon is still struggling to accept what had happened. He accompanies Makyna on a small exploration mission back to his birth tunnel, where they find another white wolf who looks remarkably similar to Rohan.

Carrie and Makyna practice their magic, until Carrie accidentally freezes her leg. Makyna mentally summons Leon, who arrives in the nick of time to help. Unfortunately, the damage has been done - Leon is forced to sever Carrie's leg, which affects him more than he realizes.

Leon seeks rest back in Pisces, only to be interrupted by Azazel's summoning. He goes to the bird and finds that he wants to spar as well. Leon is hesitant, but eventually agrees on the grounds that Azazel knows Leon can't completely control his magic.

Back in Pisces, Leon is again torn away from his rest by a pair of canines intruding on Pisces territory.

Cancer decides that it is time for him to get acquainted with the rest of the cave. Leon delights in Cancer finally leaving, and Makyna staying behind. He tries to assure Cancer that Pisces will be fine under their watch, only for Cancer to ruin his mood again.

Amaria wakes Leon up early so that he can take her out exploring. Leon is very excited for the opportunity to show his friend around, having planned a whole day of exciting adventure.

The bear and the leopard head down the tunnels into Orion, where they explore an area near the tunnel entrance.

Leon is awoken in the middle of a dream by Bevy, who has taken notice to the discord among the group. They discuss Bevy's jealousy of Makyna, and in an attempt to cheer her up, Leon offers to take her exploring the next day.

Alerted to the sound of a gathering, Leon comes to join a game of Truth or Dare. However, things quickly turn sour when Cancer is dared to sing a silly song, humiliating Leon in the process. Leon storms away, embarrassed.

Leon runs back to Cetus, looking for a place to be alone. He isolates himself and tries to come to terms with the fact that he is unwanted. Makyna follows him and tries to apologize, but Leon decides its time to go their separate ways - for now.

Leon begins his solitary journey in Orion. Here, he finds another freshly emerging Gembound that looks identical to Cancer. Leon begrudgingly helps the babe, knowing that its not his fault he and Cancer look so similar.

While exploring Orion, Leon feels the ground shake. He runs into the nearest tunnel, where he discovers the roof has caved in on top of a young lion cub. Leon helps the cub out of the rubble, oblivious to the nearby Quix, and takes him away to find help.

Making his way to the tunnel between Orion and Pisces, Leon hesitates to go too close to Pisces. He calls for Bevy, hoping the bird will hear him and come to his aid. However, they are not alone; a squad of vicious, raptor-like beasts following the scent of Usui's blood have trapped them in the tunnel and are looking for a meal.

After chasing the raptors away, Leon runs to Orion to make sure Zetos is safe.

Leon is still uneasy from the raptor attack. He travels to Canis in search of Aza'zel, but instead finds the hyena that made him sprout fungi. She offers to tell him his future, and Leon obliges. However, he doesn't like the sounds of it and flees, refusing to hear any more.

After losing track of Zetos, Leon gets angry with himself and decides to wander the tunnels. Somewhere along the way, he ends up at the entrance to Pisces, only to overhear Makyna yelling at Cancer. Makyna's emotions push him over the edge and he bursts into Pisces, lunging at Cancer.
038	~~Of Friends And Foes~~	Monoceros	Cancer , Leon	Complete
Cancer flees Pisces, leading Leon into Monoceros. There, the two tumble down the edge of the gorge and fight, finally unleashing the pent up anger between them. Only once Cancer fatally wounds Leon does he attempt to end Leon's life; before he can, a massive earthquake opens a rift in the ground beneath him, swallowing him whole. Leon passes out, and when he reawakens he returns to Pisces.
039	~~the road is lit and i'm going home~~	Pisces	Leon , Makyna , Bevy , Quix , Amaria	Complete
After a long day, Leon makes his way back to Pisces. He is greeted by Makyna, and Bevy and Quix who tend to his wounds. When he tells them what happened to Cancer, Leon fears harm would befall Makyna if she left and begs her to stay. This spawns an argument among the group, culminating as Amaria suddenly leaves the cave to search for Cancer.
040	~~We Need Justice~~	Pisces	Makyna , Leon	Complete
Makyna leads Leon back to her den, where he sleeps. After hunting, she comes back and uses hindsight on Leon in an attempt to see what really happened, only to witness first-hand Cancer's attempt to murder him. She gets really mad. Leon thankfully changes the conversation, admitting his feelings for her, and Makyna does the same.
041	~~One Final Act As King~~	Pisces	Maji Walezi	Complete
Amaria returns with Cancer, prompting a hasty greeting by Makyna in the form of unsheathed claws. As punishment for Cancer's actions, Bevy calls a trial where Cancer's fate will be decided by a jury. Things take a sharp turn when Cancer suddenly accuses Leon of attempted murder in response. The trial is concluded with the jury deciding to exile Cancer and demote Leon to runt.

Leon follows Makyna only to discover that she is caring for a small lion cub.

Leon hears Makyna return after bringing Rafael back, only to see her talking to who he thinks is Cancer. It later turns out to be Zetos.

While relaxing with Makyna, they soon hear the crack of a new chrysalis and go down to discover a freshly emerged wolf.

Heading back to Eridanus on a routine patrol, Leon runs into Usui, who has found a new Gembound - a little bear, like Leon.

Yet another new Gembound emerges in Pisces and Leon is quick to greet it; he is met with concern when the Gembound expresses he is in pain, only to realize that it is merely the cold.

Heading to Eridanus, Leon explores the fern trench and finds a shard of opal. He makes a bracelet out of it, only to encounter one of the jury members from the trial, the large dragon Baratheon.

Leon has decided that he wants to do something extra special for Makyna, so he seeks out Arkrael in hopes that she will help him.

Bevy summons all of Maji Walezi together to have their first election. Except she basically rigged it in her favor after exiling Cancer and demoting Leon.

Bevy calls a meeting to draw attention to some issues in the cave, most notably the dragon that is setting Polaris on fire. Leon agrees to meet with the other groups and asks Dark to take him to Polaris.

Following Dark to Polaris, they find the dragon, Raheerah, terrorizing two young canines. Leon and Baratheon jump in with an attempt to distract the dragon so the two canines can escape with Dark.

After returning from Polaris, Leon spends some time recovering in Pisces then heads out again to meet with the group suspected of having formed in Cetus. Instead, he finds a freshly hatched bear cub. Leon invites the cub to come with him to speak with the Children of Rot, who he tells about Raheerah before taking the cub with him back to Maji Walezi.

Leon distracts himself trying to dig out some shards of Rohan's chrysalis when he is approached by Amaria seeking advice. Things turn sour when Amaria reveals her relationship with Cancer, causing Leon to lose his temper and summon Makyna. Threatened by her appearance, Amaria slaps Makyna and flees.

A league of Gembounds come together to fight Raheerah. Leon runs in after alerting the Children of Rot to Deer Dad's plans, and the group charge at the dragon. Leon veers away after spotting a hatchling, but after taking her to Makyna and Bevy, returns to drag the wounded to safety.

Leon spots a Gembound unfortunately just hatching as they enter the fiery room to fight the dragon. He takes Arkrael and runs to the hatchling to rescue her.

Leon does his rounds in Polaris and discovers a strange winged wolf and an even stranger little lemur trying to tame a cave deer. Hmm..... weird.

Leon invites Aza'zel to join him on a trip to Polaris, where he tells Aza'zel all about the upcoming wedding and they find and craft Leon's wedding gift to Makyna.

While setting up for the wedding, Leon is joined by Clover, Ambrus and Booker, who help him decorate the cave.

While exploring Orion, Leon encounters Vazi, remembering him to be a friend of Arkrael's. However, he is proven wrong when Vazi denies that name and calls himself Hasira instead, speaking out against the evils of predators. Leon witnesses his cruelty first hand, and in an attempt to rescue Beast, challenges Vazi to a fight.

Leon is barely able to make it through the tunnel after the fight with Vazi, where he hears something cry out. Upon investigating, it turns out to be Clover, who managed to help Vazi and is breaking down upon her realization that not everyone is as kind as they seem.

While recovering from the fight, Amaria runs into Pisces calling for Leon, stating that her daughter has been kidnapped. Leon promises to help her.

Leon and Cadence are out exploring the tunnels when they are attracted to a bunch of commotion in the tunnel. Surges of water are knocking everyone off their feet, and are soon discovered to be coming from a small sub-tunnel. They and the group of Gembounds delve into the tunnel to explore.

Following the tunnel, they find Totum at the end where a strange pressurized door is controlling the surges. Together, everyone works to figure out how the door works, and manipulate the siphon to hold the door open. With the door now open, they venture on into the unknown.
